Welcome to our 86th continuous year in the Angus business. A major goal of our program is to produce bulls that excel in a multitude of traits. We strive to produce bulls that have good structure, are long-bodied, deep and thick and have sound feet and legs that can be problem free for you. This year we are offering large volumes of ½ and ¾ brothers to assist you in the development of a more consistent breeding program.
We will continue to incorporate the cutting edge of technology and genetics into our program. This year we put nearly 100 bulls through the Igenity Program to identify multiple traits through the use of DNA technology. The traits are for feed efficiency, longevity, and marbling. Along with that we have PAP tested all of the bulls for high altitude disease. We offer you the most complete set of data and information available in order for you to make the best selection decision possible.
Sitz Angus has a line up of herd bulls second to none! Many of these herd bulls are in some of the top Registered Angus programs and AI studs all across the country. These herd bulls are balanced trait bulls from maternal to tenderness to production and can do it all and be efficient. We measure a bull’s merit on how he produces and what he leaves after he is gone—the daughters in the herd and the next generation of herd bulls that will have an impact on the breed for years to come.

Our emphasis has always been on the mother cow. The “Sitz” cows have produced a great set of bulls for this year’s offering that came off the pasture in great condition. Sitz Angus has long been known for it’s females. The commercial heifers in this year’s offering are the fancy kind. Most are right out of our registered cows—bred to the same sought after, proven bulls like Upward, Bull Durham 458N, Game Day, Dash, Dimension, Madison, and Thunder. Where can you go to find heifers with this kind of genetic power.
