With summer coming to a quick end and fall work beginning, we hope that everyone had a great summer and had great crops. As we move into fall and begin weaning calves, it is time to begin thinking about bull needs to begin the cycle again.
We are continuing to incorporate the cutting edge of technology and genetics into our program. We know that genetics are only part of the equation. We don't just want to be your source for seedstock genetics, we want to help you get the most for your calves. We will work hard to not only earn your business, but also to keep it. If you watch the video sales, you will notice that when a set of Sitz sired calves sell, they will normally top the market. This isn't a fluke: we have worked hard with feeders in the past, are currently working with them and will continue to work with them in the future. It is truly rewarding to know that these feeders recognize the difference and appreciate the quality of calves they receive from our customers.
We hope our commitment to our customers and the Angus Business shows. Jim and Bob Sitz are the third generation, and the fourth is becoming involved as well. Angus is what we know, eat sleep and breath and has been since being established in 1923. We have had the opportunity to host over 50 bull sales and sell many bulls through private treaty, and after each and every sale we realize our success is directly linked to the success of our customers.
