Fishing (April - November)
Sitz Angus in Harrison, MT is home to pristine fisheries such as our legendary Sitz Lake and our three quaint ponds that boast both quantity and quality Cutthroat, Rainbow, Brown and Brook trout. These productive waters are located at the base of the beautiful Tobacco Root Mountain range. With breathtaking vistas, brag-worthy fish, and an abundance of wildlife, Sitz Angus offers a fun fishing experience for all ages and levels of expertise.
The price is $90 per rod with the availability to fish any water source of your choosing for the day. Visit our ranch office at 37 Sitz Lane Harrison, MT 59735 to check-in, make payment, and pickup a map of our lakes on the day of your reservation.
SITZ Lake ("Big Lake")
SITZ Lake - Located just passed our ranch headquarters, this beautiful, spring-fed lake covers 80 acres and is 60 feet deep when it is full. With it's own natural spawning ground, SITZ Lake is full of Rainbow, Brooke, Brown, Arlee Rainbow, and Cutbow trout.
Malby's Twin Ponds
These twin ponds are located Southeast of "Malby's Mound," an iconic landmark along our ranch's backroad. One pond covers 15 acres while the other is approximately 5 acres. They are both approximately 30 feet deep.
Bausch Pond
Named after our neightbors, this quaint fishery is located near the little town of Norris, MT. It covers 15 acres and is 15 feet deep.
Hunting
Cattle ranches provide 75% of the habitat and food for US wildlife, and Sitz Angus is no different. Our ranges are teeming with Mule deer, Whitetail deer, and elk. Our 2020 Outfitting is already leased out, but we are pleased to accept reservations for scheduled cow elk hunts.
We also offer gopher hunting and predator hunting to interested and responsible individuals. Please get in touch with our office regarding these hunts.
